A man who:

  • Is pursuing knowledge.
  • Takes initiative.
  • Isn’t living off of mommy and daddy’s trust fund.
  • Has a “real job.”
  • Is confident.
  • Takes me to restaurants because I will enjoy them, not because he has a “buy 1 get 1 free” coupon.
  • Knows how to dress himself like a man, not a college student.
  • Is passionate.
  • Treats women (all women) with respect.
  • Likes adventure and spontaneity.
  • Isn’t afraid to argue or debate.

If you exist…please call me. I’m free on Saturday night.

weather woes

On Valentine’s day I wore shorts. Yes, shorts. And I wore them OUTSIDE. It was wonderful, but it was presumptuous of me because unfortunately, the very next day it dropped to 40 degrees F. Sad. Then, on Friday evening and Saturday all day, I had to brave the freezing torrential downpour and 30 degree weather outside and ended up driving home from a retreat camp ground with wet, cold feet in my Converse sneakers. Today it has climbed back into the 50′s, but it’s still too chilly for me.

Now I’m at home, in my fleece pants, with the thermostat humming nicely at 77 degrees and peace and quiet lurking outside my door. All I need is a hot beverage, my warm blanket and perhaps the Food Network on t.v. Ahhhh…I guess these days are good for something…

would you do it for $300?

If you could put a price on never having to shave your underarms again, what would that look like?

Would you consider it for about $300…to have your hair laser removed?  To never have to worry about that area again?

I think I would. I am seriously considering it. And, I’m considering it over something equally problematic, like my legs, because let’s face it – my leg hair is pathetic. I can go a long time without shaving my legs because the hair is so fine and light, most people can’t even tell. However, I know there are some ladies out there who have leg hair the equivalent of coarse sand paper, and so for them I can see legs being a higher priority than underarms. But legs also cost a lot more….

So….do I do it???
